Below is my personal Curriculum Vitae, looking to show my ethical, financial, creative and technical employability skills to a design practice looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic designer.
After recently graduating with a 2:1 in Interior Design, at Birmingham’s School of Architecture & Design, I am moving to the United Arab Emirates on the 30th of September to follow my career aspirations. My family are currently Expats living in Abu Dhabi, where I will also be staying. (Please find attached address on the Contact Page)
Growing up I lived in the Caribbean and Bulgaria, where I studied Bulgarian as a first language and Russian as a second language.
Traveling from a young age has magnified my immense appreciation for cultural influences in design, and my ambition to work abroad.
With my family now living in the Emirates, I have visited out of term time and each time I grow fonder of the stunning aspects each space presents. I aspire to spend my first employment in the Emirates, now that I have finished University.
I spent time in design universities in Hong Kong, where I successfully collaborated with foreign designers, and came out with a unique new range of design, communication and collaborative skills.
I am a 21 year-old 2019 Interior Design Graduate. Out of working hours I enjoy adventures with family to new places and learning about rooted cultures. My holidays consist of travelling with friends and attending music festivals. In my spare time I am passionate about volunteering to help children, I have coached netball to primary school students and helped run a girl guides group.
INTERIOR DESIGN DEGREE BA HONOURS • SEPT 2016 - JUNE 2019 •
BIRMINGHAM CITY UNIVERSITY
I have just graduated with a 2:1 in Interior Design, completing 1st year as the highest overall mark in the year group. Demonstrating I am committed and motivated in everything I do, and incredibly passionate in continuous self-improvement and every aspect of the design world.

post-catastrophe design and learnt the importance of being an ethical and environmentally aware designer.
INTERIOR DESIGN WORK EXPERIENCE • APRIL 2018 •
PASCALL+ WATSON, INTERNATIONAL DESIGN PRACTICE
With Pascal & Watson, I was based in their Abu Dhabi office. Here I gained insight into the advancement of BIM, and how to efficiently create a full design solution for a client with all the necessary documentation, using software such as Revit to extract information, and InDesign to store updating files. This studio taught me how to source within my FF&E, products that took budget and global footprint into consideration.
INTERIOR DESIGN WORK EXPERIENCE • JULY 2015 •
CCC, CONTRACTORS
My time with this firm was located in Aqaba, Jordan. Whilst overlooking the designs for 7 star luxurious hotels, my creativity and passion for art in all aspects amplified, as I examined the process of concept through to development. I studied a live project and gained insight into how to conduct client presentations and consult other practitioners.
INTERIOR DESIGN WORK EXPERIENCE • JUNE 2015 •
CAPITA, REAL ESTATE & INFRASTRUCTURE
Capita coached me on how to undertake a thorough design process. I created an A3 portfolio of my personal designs for the interior of modern-day primary and secondary schools, including design development boards and 3D visuals. Completing this improved my IT software skills in CAD and Revit.
4 ALEVELS • AUG 2016 • STANWELL SIXTH FORM, WALES UK
I received the grades AABC in my ALevel qualifications, studying Art, Media Studies and IT. I also accomplished the Welsh Baccalaureate qualification, consisting of a dissertation, volunteering, team projects and studying Spanish.
14 GCSES • AUG 2014 • STANWELL SCHOOL, WALES UK
All my GCSE grades are A-C, including an A grade in English and
Mathematics.
I am passionate and hardworking and take pride in my work. I have experience with meeting goals and targets, and enjoy working productively in a busy environment. I am friendly, sociable and approachable and enjoy both taking the lead and working as part of a team.
I work efficiently whilst multi-tasking, as I am reliable with excellent time management. I use coded spreadsheets, to manage my budgets and tasks years in advance.
I am a newly graduate, and am extremely excited for the possibility of being trained to create the best possible work and gain experience in the real design world. I am incredibly enthusiastic and a fast learner.
I have worked since the age of 15 to help support myself through education. My work ethic is exhibited in both my design work and my part time jobs, this character trait has allowed me to develop and inherit new skills in the work place. For example, I am a:
MAXIMIZER & OPTIMIZER - Whilst being a team member of the No1 best-selling makeup brand in the UK, I learnt to maximize processes, situations and opportunities by creating personal connections with clients to push sales and meet daily and monthly sales targets. I have the skill and persistence to tweak variables until it produces better results.
DISMANTLER - When managers were missing, or electronic reliance’s were down, I ran business’ efficiently by scaling things back in an orderly fashion. This meant creating alternate methods, which were easily translated to other members of the team, to complete figure spreadsheets, stockroom management, shop floor merchandising and restocking.
TRANSITIONIST & ETHICIST - During my time at Manpower, I identified students’ personal and individual needs, and helped them make a transition into university life. It was important for me as an individual to have moral decency and be honest and truthful when sharing my own experiences with University.
EXPANSIONIST - Working for the Arcadia Group, I gained the ability to adapt along a growing environment. Their brand was transforming from high street to online. In response to this, I was completing orders with customers via IPads on the shop floor, to encourage their target audience to also make that transition.
LEGACIST - I have always been passionate and successful when leaving a legacy; one which reflects the brand I work for. I provide exemplary customer service and ensure clients feel comfortable and relaxed, which has allowed me to provide the brands full customer experience.
